What is the User Enrolment Wizard?

The User Enrollment Wizard is a new feature designed to guide users through the account configuration requirements when logging into Access Manager for the first time.

Wizard Informs User Of Steps Required
When a user logs in for the first time they will be presented with the User Setup page, this lists each of the details that Access Manager will require in order to create a complete profile.

Guiding The User
The wizard will then take the user through each step allowing configuration.

Finishing The Wizard
Once the wizard is complete the user should have provided enough details for the account to now have a complete profile and will be able to access the Password Reset and Account Unlock functions. 

Configuring The Wizard
By default the wizard will guide the user through their authentication requirements and gather the user contact details. It's possible to customize this and define whether the authentication modules and contact details are required. If all available options are set to disabled, then the user will be taken straight to their dashboard where they can configure their account.

Customizing Authentication modules
From the administration portal go to the Authentication tab, you can then configure the settings for Questions, PIN and Passphrase, to do this expand the settings menu. 

Questions


User Wizard Setup Mode: here you can set the mode for the enrollment wizard. By default questions will be required in the wizard, here you can change these settings.
Required if not complete:
meaning the user will be prompted to complete the questions.
Optional if not complete:
User is prompted to complete but is able to skip this step.
Disabled:
User will not be prompted for questions during wizard.

Passphrase

User Wizard Setup Mode: here you can set the mode for the enrollment wizard. By default the passphrase will be required in the wizard, here you can change these settings.
Required if not complete:
meaning the user will be prompted to complete the passphrase.
Optional if not complete:
User is prompted to complete but is able to skip this step.
Disabled:
User will not be prompted for passphrase during wizard.

PIN

User Wizard Setup Mode:
here you can set the mode for the enrollment wizard. By default the PIN will be required in the wizard, here you can change these settings.
Required if not complete:
meaning the user will be prompted to complete the PIN.
Optional if not complete:
User is prompted to complete but is able to skip this step.
Disabled:
User will not be prompted for PIN during wizard.

Customizing Contact details
Here you can specify what contact details are required during the enrollment wizard.

Email address


Email User Wizard Setup Mode: here you can set the mode for the enrollment wizard. By default the email will be required in the wizard, here you can change these settings.
Primary and Alternative required:
the user will be required to set a primary AND Alternative email address during the wizard.
Required if not complete:
meaning the user will be prompted to complete the email address.
Optional if not complete:
User is prompted to complete but is able to skip this step.
Disabled:
User will not be prompted for email during wizard.

Mobile number



Mobile numbers User Wizard Setup Mode:
here you can set the mode for the enrollment wizard. By default the mobile number will be required in the wizard, here you can change these settings.
Required if not complete:
meaning the user will be prompted to complete the mobile number.
Optional if not complete:
User is prompted to complete but is able to skip this step.
Disabled:
User will not be prompted for mobile number during wizard.

 

Disabling the User Wizard

It's possible to disable the user enrollment wizard, to do so you must set all Authentication and contact detail requirements to disabled. The enrollment wizard will then be skipped and the user will be taken straight to their dashboard.
